Lions Back To Work Today As 3-day Minicamp Opens

After being banned from the building for two days, players will return to Lions headquarters today in Allen Park for a three-day mandatory minicamp.
The Lions were supposed to hold a five-day primer for training camp this week -- two days of organized team activities, followed by the minicamp. But they lost those two days of OTAs because they violated off-season workout rules "pertaining to the intensity and tempo of drills," according to the NFL and the players' union. So this is it until the players report for training camp July 30.
