Khang's Blog: "We Want Rip"
I was covering the Pistons/Suns game Saturday night when with 8:55 left in the game and the Pistons down 15 the crowd started to chant "WE WANT RIP...WE WANT RIP". I'm pretty sure coach Kuester never even looked in his direction. After that the Pistons made a roaring comeback to take the lead 71-70 with less than a minute left and the "WE WANT RIP" chants silenced. The Pistons eventually went on to win the game 75-74. The point is that the fans don't really want Rip they just want to win. If that means Rip continues to get DNP's because of the coach's decision then so be it. The Rip Hamilton/John Kuester saga has gone on long enough and the Pistons are obviously trying to trade Hamilton but until that happens the fans should stop wasting their energy on players that are on the bench and start concentrating on the players who are actually on the court.
