If you aren't familiar with Nitro Circus then you're in luck, since they are bringing their show on the road to Joe Louis Arena.

Nitro Circus will be live at the Joe on Oct. 18 and they are bringing the man who pulled off the first triple backflip on a dirt bike with them.

Josh Sheehan is also the only rider in the world regularly performing the still dangerous double backflip — a highlight of Nitro Circus Live shows worldwide. He was the first rider in the world to ruler flip a 450 four-stroke bike as well.

I was lucky enough to interview Sheehan in advance of the show and listening to him talk about the risk these athletes take on a nightly basis is crazy to me.
