Joel Zumaya Moved To 60 Day DL

MEDICAL WATCH:

--DH Victor Martinez (right groin strain) didn't play April 17, and he left the April 18 game. He might be out at least a few more days.

--RHP Ryan Perry (left eye infection) went on the 15-day disabled list retroactive to April 5. He made rehab appearances for Class AAA Toledo on April 14 and April 18, and he might be activated April 20.

--RHP Joel Zumaya (right elbow surgery in July 2010) experienced pain in the elbow during his Feb. 27 spring debut, and he went on the 15-day disabled list March 30. He was given clearance to resume a throwing program in early April but felt discomfort in his first throwing session April 7. An exam April 18 failed to find the cause for his continuing elbow problems, and he was transferred to the 60-day DL.

--2B Carlos Guillen (left knee microfracture surgery in September 2010) went on the 15-day disabled list March 30. He remained at the team's Florida camp to rehab, and it's unclear when he will make his season debut.
