JOEL ZUMAYA HAS NON-DISPLACED FRACTURE OF OLECRANON
The Detroit Tigers today announced righthanded pitcher Joel Zumaya has a non-displaced fracture of the olecranon.
Zumaya's injury was diagnosed following X-Rays and an MRI earlier today and he will be sidelined for the remainder of the season.
Zumaya has been placed on the 15-day disabled list by the club today and the Tigers today have purchased the contract of righthanded pitcher Casey Fien from Triple A Toledo.
