After the Lions come from behind 49-35 win over the Panthers on Sunday, something that Cliff Avril was wearing caught my eye and made me ask WHY? Not only was the defensive lineman wearing a Milwaukee Brewers hat, but he was sporting a matching zip up as well. Of course it doesn't take a genius to realize that the Brewers play in the state of Wisconsin, the same state that Detroit has not won in 2 decades plus. Plus, Thursday the undefeated Green Bay Packers come knocking for the annual Thanksgiving Day game and they of course are the team that the Lions have not beat in forever in Green Bay, Milwaukee or really anywhere away from Detroit or Pontiac.

So how could Avril be sporting state of Wisconsin sporting gear as the Lions get ready for the biggest game of the season against the Packers? It's not even like Avril went to school in Wisconsin, he went to Purdue which is in Indiana. So what could his excuse be?
