Injured Firefighters Recovering
Some good news to report in the case of a couple of Detroit firefighters injured in a Friday fire on the city's east side.
Two of the six firefighters injured have been upgraded from critical to fair condition. 31-year-old Eric Jurmo and 30-year-old Brian Milewski are now in fair condition at Detroit Receiving Hospital. 31-year-old Brian Baulch is in intensive care at St. John Hospital.
All were injured when a wall collapsed during a fire at a building near Jefferson & Dickerson. The family has requested that no information be released on firefighter Gerald Rutkowski, who's in Royal Oak Beaumont Hospital. Others were treated and released.
