Inge Signs Two-Year Contract With Tigers
The Tigers and third baseman Brandon Inge have agreed to terms on a two-year contract with a club option for 2013, the club announced this morning.
Team president Dave Dombrowski said on the last day of the season that the Tigers want to keep Inge at third base and Jhonny Peralta at shortstop. He also said the team will make Alex Avila the No. 1 catcher, that the Tigers will fill second base with one of their own young players, and that Ryan Raburn essentially will have a full-time outfield job.
