C/D/H hires again: The Grand Rapids-based IT consulting firm C/D/H announced that Rick Griggs has joined the Grand Rapids office as a technology consultant. Griggs is the third consultant C/D/H has hired in four months, deepening the company's resources to support new business growth. Griggs has been in the technology industry for 22 years, and has more than 15 years of consulting and technology systems experience. Most recently, Griggs worked as a contract network server engineer for a non-profit organization where, in two short months, he was able to research and resolve issues with extremely long user login times and virtual server hard drive space allocation. Griggs also worked as a senior systems consultant for a West Michigan technology firm, where he managed a data center, diagnosed and resolved customer network issues and focused on server virtualization. Along with project management and consulting, Griggs' numerous technology skills include server and storage infrastructure design and implementation, WAN/LAN hardware setup and configuration and Internet integration. Griggs has technical training in Cisco, Citrix, FalconStor IPStor, Sun Microsystems Solaris 2.6 and Windows. Griggs is a certified Novell CNE, Microsoft Professional and Lotus Professional.
