Guns At Festival Debate Wages On
No decision was made last night at Royal Oak's City Commission meeting on the question of allowing legal gun owners to carry their weapons in the open, during the Arts, Beats and Eats festival over the Labor Day weekend.
Advocates claim they have the law on their side, while city officials and festival promoters say they have a clause in their contract, prohibiting guns at the event.
