Gunman Causes Scare In Warren, 3 Schools Briefly Placed Under Lockdown
WARREN (WWJ) - Additional police officers will be at three Van Dyke Community Schools as a precaution after a man with a gun was reported nearby.
Two callers told police they saw the man with a handgun near Toepfer and Arsenal around 7:30 a.m. Tuesday.
Lincoln High School, Lincoln Middle School and Lincoln Elementary School, all located near 9 Mile Road and Van Dyke Avenue, were locked down for a couple of hours as police looked for the man. He wasn't found.
An investigation is ongoing.
