Grand Rapids Man Dies In Weekend Snowmobile Crash
ALPINE TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) - A man riding a snowmobile in the Grand Rapids area has died after hitting a large tree stump.
The Kent County sheriff's office says hunters in Alpine Township discovered the body of 50-year-old Jock Burress on Sunday. The crash likely occurred the previous night.
The Grand Rapids man was ejected from his snowmobile and died from his injuries.
