Grades Matter For Pre-Vet Programs
Many middle and high school student dream of becoming a veterinarian, but are not sure how to get started on the road to that career. In order to enter this highly competitive field, students need high grades in high school and college, particularly in science classes. They also need lots of experience working with or volunteering with animals. Michigan State Universities College of Veterinary Medicine offers Visit a Vet on March 19, 2011 for students across the state interested in the field. While college students can pursue pre-veterinary programs at many colleges in Michigan, MSU is the only university offering graduate veterinary education in the state.
