Golf Carts Stolen From Northern Michigan Golf Club
BENZIE COUNTY (WWJ) - Authorities say six golf carts worth about $30,000 have been stolen from a club in the northern Lower Peninsula.
The Benzie County sheriff's department is investigating the theft that occurred over the weekend at Pinecroft Golf Club in Benzonia, 25 miles southwest of Traverse City.
A newspaper reports the carts were loaded onto a waiting trailer after the thieves cut a security cable.
