Floyd "Money" Mayweather has been known to spend a copious amount of money whenever the mood strikes him.

This past weekend, Mayweather was in town and decided to go to a gentleman's club in Detroit. He balled out at V Live Detroit and dropped $40,000, according to TMZ.com.

The champ showed up to V Live Detroit over the weekend with $40,000 in hundred-dollar bills ... jumped onstage and made it rain for an hour straight. We're told Floyd was enjoying one dancer in particular -- LuvHonesty -- and personally handed her $20k.

The fine people at BET.com have found the dancer LuvHonesty on social media.
