First Day Of School With The Washburns
I'm not going to lie. By mid-August, I was anxiously awaiting the start of school. I was ready for a break from the near-constant parade of kids at my house and I was desperate for a nap, since most nights I get only a few hours of sleep.
But, when the first day finally got here, turns out I wasn't even close to ready. Yeah, we had the backpack and the school supplies nailed down, but I wasn't ready for summer to be … (gulp)… over. And, at least in the practical sense, it is.
So, while it's taking me a minute or two to shift gears, my favorite youngster is happily launching into 4th grade. We shot video to document how our first day started.
