Fewer Folks Fishing Up North This Year
DETROIT (WWJ) - Michigan is renowned across the world as the place for outdoor activities. Detroit Free Press Writer Eric Sharp, author of Fishing Michigan, says the number of people fishing up north is down.
"It's not just the trout streams, it's the lakes. I live on a lake ... which is a very big, popular lake, and there are just a handful of boats out there this weekend, of course, our weather hasn't been the best, it's been pretty rugged right up to now," says Sharp.
Sharp says they had a frost warning three nights ago.... and people are waiting for the weather to warm up before they come up.
