There is a hurry up and wait aspect about the Tigers, an understandable, and sometimes maddening, need to get ahead of ourselves and project where they are ultimately headed in the 2012 season.
You'd think we'd know by now. The Tigers have played 121 games.
Yet, where the Tigers' fate lies come October is as clear as the moon on a cloudy night.
The Tigers are 64-57. It is the same record they had last season after 121 games. Their position in the American League Central standings is a little more precarious than it was last year, but not as much as you might think.
