Event Notices From February 24

Ann Arbor sets Green Fair: The City of Ann Arbor's 11th annual Green Fair will take place Friday, June 10 from 6 to 9 p.m. As in past years, the city will close off part of Main Street to accommodate exhibitors. Participation in the fair is $25 for all Waste Knot Partners and Washtenaw County environmental non-profits. Based on last year's evaluations, we are planning to provide a 10-foot space for all tables, allowing more space between exhibitors and the ability to use a 10-foot by 10-foot canopy. Participants in the fair will be supplied with one table and two chairs. This year's Green Fair is also planned as a zero waste event. Exhibitors are asked to keep that in mind and bring minimal and only recyclable handouts or packing materials for their booths. Applications for this year's event will be sent out in March. General event information is posted at www.a2gov.org/greenfair and exhibitors are limited by the space available.
