New Enterprise Forum To Meet On The Deal: You've grown your operation to the point that someone else's money or ownership is the next step. Structuring "the deal" is a dance between what is and what may be, with numbers seemingly the primary consideration. But are they? And what other factors shape the terms -- or outcomes -- of an agreement? We'll gather the experts; you bring your questions for a session co-hosted by New Enterprise Forum and Ann Arbor Spark. Panelists include Ryan Waddington, co-founder and managing director of Huron River Ventures, who has more than 13 years of experience investing, operating and consulting in the alternative energy and environmental sectors; Paul McCreadie of Arboretum Ventures, who is responsible for sourcing and leading new investments in promising healthcare companies; and Ganesh "Ananth" Ananthasubramaniam, who joined DTE Energy Ventures in 1995 and has led several DTE Energy investments including co-founding Plug Power. The moderator will be Jeff Bocan, a managing director at Beringea LLC, a private equity firm based in Farmington Hills. He is responsible for investment sourcing, analysis, deal execution and portfolio management.
