DTE Energy Issues RFPs
DETROIT -- DTE Energy is issuing a Request for Proposals for the Residential Home Performance energy efficiency program.
DTE Energy is seeking bids from qualified residential HVAC, audit and weatherization vendors to provide services for Residential Home Performance energy efficiency programs offered by its Michigan electric and gas utilities, Detroit Edison and MichCon.
DTE is also issuing an RFP for evaluation, measurement and verification (EM&V) services for its energy efficiency programs.
DTE Energy is seeking bids for qualified EM&V vendors to provide services for the residential and commercial portfolio of energy efficiency programs offered by its Michigan electric and gas utilities, Detroit Edison and MichCon, respectively.
All parties interested in receiving more information about the RHP RFP should send their contact information, referencing the Residential Home Performance energy efficiency program RFP, to ENERGYOP@dteenergy.com no later than Friday, Oct. 28.
Through this request for proposal, DTE Energy is looking for a consultant to provide services in the areas of installing energy-efficiency heating and cooling equipment, providing in-home energy efficiency information and provide no-cost/low-cost energy efficiency solutions for residential customers. Services to be provided include providing incentives for the purchase of energy efficient appliances, offer technical education and training to customers, offer online energy audit tools, the ability to conduct comprehensive energy audits and provide customers with information on how to save money on energy bills.
The successful service provider must have extensive experience and demonstrated abilities in all aspects of energy efficiency program design, implementation, monitoring, measurement, education and training.

The company is looking for a consultant to provide ongoing, independent EM&V services as part of its overall energy efficiency program for the years 2012-2015. Services to be provided include independent impact evaluations, process evaluations, ongoing consulting on EM&V issues, support DTE Energy's participation in statewide energy efficiency collaborative and other EM&V projects necessary to support DTE Energy's energy efficiency programs.
The successful service provider must have extensive experience and demonstrated abilities in all aspects of energy efficiency program design, implementation, monitoring, measurement, verification, valuation and energy efficiency program evaluation techniques, strategies and principles.
