Driver Arrested After 2 Pedestrians Killed In Detroit
DETROIT (AP) - Two people struck by a Ford Explorer in Detroit have died.
Police tell TV stations WXYZ and WDIV that the victims, a man and a woman, were hit by an Explorer while on a sidewalk Saturday night.
Just moments earlier, the vehicle had struck another car. The driver fled but was arrested when he went to police and claimed the Explorer had been carjacked.
