AUBURN HILLS, Mich. – The Detroit Pistons will be looking for dunkers who can fly high and thrill fans when open auditions are held for the 2012-13 Flight Crew entertainment team on Thursday, July 26 and Friday, July 27 at The Palace of Auburn Hills.

Applicants will be judged on dunk technique, performance skills, ability to learn quickly, personality, self-confidence and other qualities that embody being a Flight Crew member.

All participants should wear athletic apparel, basketball shorts and shoes and be prepared to submit a headshot and resume at registration. Registration is set for Thursday, July 26 at 4:00 p.m. in the West Atrium and initial auditions will begin at 5:00 p.m. The preliminary round will include a course on safety exercises and dunk technique which is mandatory for all athletes trying out. First cuts will be made following the preliminary round. Final auditions will be held on Friday, July 27 and will begin at 5:00 p.m.
