Detroit Cop Injured After Crash Into Garage
DETROIT (WWJ) - A Detroit police officer is injured after crashing into a garage Tuesday afternoon. Police say it happened when an officer stopped a man on the street for suspected narcotics.
Officials say the man then allegedly took off. One officer chased the suspect, while his partner, who was still in a patrol car, drove around to cut him off.
The officer then crashed into a garage on Gladys, near I-94.
He suffered minor injuries. The suspect was not caught. No word on what caused the accident.
