Deadly Accident On I-75
One person has died after an early Wednesday morning accident on northbound I-75 near the Fort Street-Schaefer exit ramp.
Michigan State Police are investigating. More details about the crash were expected later Wednesday morning, however troopers closed the freeway near the Outer Drive exit as investigators took measurements and notes.
WWJ traffic reporter Bill Szumanski reports the wrecked motorcycle ended up several yards from where the accident took place.
The northbound lanes of I-75 reopened just before 7:30 a.m.
