Compuware Joins the Business Software Alliance
The Business Software Alliance announced that Detroit-based Compuware Corp. (Nasdaq: CPWR) has joined BSA as a member of its policy council.
In this role, Compuware, a provider of software and professional technical services specializing in application performance management, cloud-based secure collaboration solutions and mainframe productivity solutions, will work with a group of 27 other BSA member companies to develop and advocate policy positions that promote technology innovation.
In all, BSA's membership ranks now include 85 of the world's leading software companies. Working with BSA staff, they engage in anti-piracy and policy activities at the global, regional and local levels.
"Compuware has joined BSA's policy council to contribute our expertise and collaborate on issues such as cloud computing, application performance, healthcare IT, data privacy and more," said Compuware Chief Technology Officer Paul Czarnik.
