Compuware Helps Comdata Achieve Revenue Objectives

DETROIT -- Compuware Corp. (Nasdaq:CPWR), the technology performance company, and Comdata Network Inc. have implemented a test automation process that helps Comdata achieve revenue objectives by ensuring the production readiness of a mission-critical application.

Based in Brentwood, Tenn., Comdata is a leader in providing financial transaction systems. Comdata enables more than $31 billion in fleet card, credit card, pay card and virtual card transactions annually.

To improve efficiency and adherence to regulatory standards, Comdata began development of a new compliance system for its fleets. This application would enable long-haul carriers to apply for and generate permits quickly, assisting them in maintaining regulatory compliance. The massive scope of this application, combined with quality and production readiness concerns, resulted in Comdata retaining Compuware to implement a software quality and test automation process.

"This application was extremely mission-critical for Comdata," said Todd Joseph, senior vice president, technology, Comdata. "Our goal was to find a provider with deep experience that was both proven and reliable at addressing our key challenges."

"Comdata is a technology innovator in its industry and is very concerned with delivering high-quality, production-ready applications," said Fai Vitali, regional services vice president at Compuware. "Our team worked to develop a strategic relationship and deliver an application that was defect free, ahead of schedule and within budget."
