Freeslate In Deal For Research Deal To Dow Corning: Sunnyvale, Calif.-based Freeslate Inc. Wednesday announced a supply agreement with Midland-baesd Dow Corning Corp. for research and development equipment and software. Working closely with Dow Corning, Freeslate's scientists and workflow experts will design, develop and implement integrated research and development workflows based on Freeslate's high-throughput pressure reactors, configurable Core Module 3 platform and Lab Execution and Analysis software. The CM3 is a highly flexible system that will allow Dow Corning to leverage a single automated platform for preparing, processing and testing an array of complex mixtures and samples. In addition, Freeslate's LEA software will integrate Freeslate technologies and third-party instrumentation, allowing Dow Corning scientists to easily share comprehensive information across the organization.
