Join Pro Football Hall of Famer Charlie Sanders and the The Charlie Sanders Scholarship Foundation for a day of golf on August 13, 2012 at Knollwood Country Club in West Bloomfield Township. Golf with celebrity hall of famers, Detroit Lions alumni, coaches and local TV and radio personalities. The day includes golf, dinner silent auction and an awards ceremony.

The Charlie Sanders Scholarship Foundation seeks to make a difference in the lives of children. Every year, high school students die from sudden cardiac arrest. These deaths can be due to abnormal heart structure or rhythms that can lead to cardiac arrest. To help young people detect their risk for this problem, Beaumont Hospital, in partnership with 97.1 The Ticket, started the Student Heart Check Program.

This year, proceeds generated from the Charlie Sanders Golf Outing will be donated to the Student Heart Check Program.
