Charlie Langton: Should Streaking Be A Felony?
An Arizona undergraduate found out the hard way they don't like streaking much where he comes from.
Jace Lankow,22, was charged with a felony after running onto the field during a University of Arizona game sans his clothing. For unknown reasons, his nudity incited some kind of on-field fight that led to the ejection of two players.
Lankow was wrestled to the ground and ticketed. It inspired 1270 Talk's Charlie Langton to ask: Should streaking be a felony?
"They charged him criminally with, the charge is criminal impersonation, it's a felony, this guy could go to prison for a year and a half for streaking," Langton said.
"It's not enough! Give him more time, we've got to end this terrible problem of streakers, it's a terrible program," Langton said, laughing.
"A year and a half? Wow, that's pretty heavy duty. I guess the people of Arizona want to send a message that if you streak ... during a football game we're going to send you to prison."
"That's a little heavy, that's a little heavy duty. But it is kind of funny."
So what do you think, should streaking be a felony?
