The price to be seen on America's biggest stage just got a little higher.

CBS president and chief executive Leslie Moonves made the announcement Wednesday during an earnings call that CBS will get $5 million for a 30-second commercial during Super Bowl 50.

The $5 million price tag is a 11 percent increase from Super Bowl 49.

CBS last carried the Super Bowl three years ago and got $3.8 million for the half-minute spot.

Moonves did mention how the commercials that are aired on TV will also be streamed.

According to ESPN:

The cost of an ad for Super Bowl I in 1967 was $37,500, which is equal to $268,000 today. Just two seconds of ad time for Super Bowl 50 will cost more than $333,000.

Super Bowl 50 is taking place on February 7, 2016 at Levi's Stadium in San Francisco.
