Brown-Out In Dearborn Causing Concern Among Residents

DEARBORN (WWJ) - With temperatures expected to climb into the 90s Monday and continue that way throughout the week, a brown-out in Dearborn is causing some concern for people living on one particular street.

WWJ's Vickie Thomas, reporting from N. Waverly Street in Dearborn, caught up with a contractor for DTE Energy. His crew had just finished removing a downed tree that took out some power lines during a previous storm. He told her they had been working for about 24 hours straight just dealing with previous damage.

Some residents in that area dealt with a power outage last week and according to DTE's outage map, hundreds are without power as of Monday morning.
