Boy Scout Leader Charged With Child Porn

ANN ARBOR (AP) - A man who has been active with Boy Scouts in the Ann Arbor area has been charged with receiving child pornography.
The FBI says the investigation began last fall when a federal agency believed Frank Bertram Jr. was using his work computer to access pornography.

He's a chemist for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.

Bertram was charged Tuesday in federal court in Detroit. The FBI's criminal complaint says he's been an assistant scoutmaster with the Great Sauk Trail Council of Boy Scouts in Ann Arbor.

Messages seeking comment were left at Bertram's home and at the Great Sauk Trail Council.
