Blackhawks 4, Wings 2
DETROIT (WWJ/AP) - Jimmy Howard had 25 saves against a strong Chicago offense but it wasn't enough as the Detroit Red Wings lose to the Blackhawks 4-2 on Friday night.
Drew Miller and Tomas Holmstrom scored for Detroit, third in the Western Conference.
Brent Seabrook and Marian Hossa each had a goal and an assist to help the Chicago Blackhawks beat the Wings.
Ben Smith and Brian Campbell also scored for Chicago, fighting for a playoff spot a year after winning the Stanley Cup. Patrick Kane had two assists, and Corey Crawford made 26 saves.
