A great story about a great local guy. Jamawn Woods was working the second shift driving a forklift at the Chrysler Sterling Heights Assembly Plant and running a part-time catering business from his home to help make ends meet. He created a Facebook page to help promote the catering biz and someone from NBC contacted him about being on a reality show called "America's Next Great Restaurant". Jamawn ended up winning the contest and he opened 3 Soul Daddy restaurants this past Monday. One each in New York, L.A. and Minnesota. Congrats to Jamawn and...how about opening one in Detroit!
