Tim Shabberly, formerly a dishwasher, who was hired in 1973, was offered the bakery in 1996, and he moved it to Farmington Hills. Mrs. Maddox's makes cookies, tea sandwiches and other delicacies, including different varieties of cakes (wedding, holiday, occasion, etc.). Drop-bys are fine for wedding consultations and to try samples, but Mrs. Maddox's asks that you arrive at least an hour before closing time.
