Cheli's Chili Bar
47 E. Adams Ave.
Detroit, MI 48226
You can find anything chili related at Cheli's Chili Bar, located in downtown Detroit. From the Cheli's Chili Cheese Nachos, to a Coney Dog, to its chili fries, there is definitely something for the chili fanatic (and for their friends) here. If you only want "regular" chili, you can choose from the original, veggie or chicken chili sold by the cup or bowl. The restaurant is actually right next to Comerica Park, so it's a great place to visit once baseball season comes around. On non-event days, the bar does a happy hour Monday through Friday, which includes $3 draft beers, half-off appetizers and $1 off wines and mixed drinks, too.
6873 Orchard Lake Road
West Bloomfield, MI 48322
The Stage Deli has two locations, a regular-sized restaurant in West Bloomfield and a quick-serve location at the Somerset Collection in Troy. Stage Deli offers a spicy chili with cheddar, avocado and sour cream as optional additions, and you can choose between its beef or vegetarian options. You can also choose to upgrade to its soup and salad combo, where you will receive a half Caesar, beltaire or Greek salad with a cup of soup - you may also order it with a bowl of soup for an additional charge.
Diamond Jim Brady's
43271 Crescent Blvd.
Novi, MI 48375
Diamond Jim Brady's is located near the Twelve Oaks Mall in Novi, and has a few variations of chili from which to choose. "Jim Brady's Chili," Jim's original recipe from 1954, is available for purchase, as is the vegetarian black bean chili. The vegetarian chili comes with tortilla straws and cilantro sour cream, and the chili, as well as Jim's Swiss creamy onion soup, are available in take-home quarts, too. Happy hour is from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and the restaurant is open for both lunch and dinner every day, with a brunch replacing lunch on Sundays.

Rusty Bucket Restaurant & Tavern
15400 Sheldon Road
Northville, MI 48168
Rusty Bucket has a location in Northville and in Bloomfield Hills (Woodward Avenue), and on Mondays at both locations the "Blue Plate Special" is the Gary's 3-Way: spaghetti covered in Texas sirloin chili, with cheddar cheese, sour cream, onion and diced tomatoes. It also includes garlic cheese bread. The Gary's 3-Way is definitely a unique take on spaghetti, and Rusty Bucket's chili has won prizes at the Northville Fire & Ice Festival, among other places. If you want to nix the spaghetti, you can also order Texas Sirloin Chili by itself, or grab some Rusty Bucket Chili Dogs instead, which are also served with homemade chili pepper relish.
Green Dot Stables
2200 W. Lafayette Blvd.
Detroit, MI 48216
If you're bored with typical beef or turkey chili, try Green Dot Stables, which offers venison chili cheese fries, as well as coney dogs topped with its venison chili. Their french fries come in all sorts of gourmet varieties, too: truffle and herb, poutine and cajun, along with regular fries. The coney dogs include venison chili, onions and mustard. Green Dot Stables does not take reservations, and your entire party must be present in order to be seated. The restaurant is located in downtown Detroit near West Fort Street.
