Battle Creek Man Dies In Industrial Accident

A 65-year-old Battle Creek man has died from injuries he suffered during an industrial incident in mid-Michigan.
Michigan State Police tell The Bay City Times that Edward J. Bylow was crushed between an excavator and a tractor-trailer about 1:25 p.m. Saturday in William Township.

Police say Bylow had walked between the truck and the counterweight on the back of an excavator. He was struck when the excavator rotated.

The excavator was being operated by a 41-year-old Midland man.

No further details were released. An investigation is ongoing.
