Arrest Made In Mall Shooting

Police say they have a suspect in custody more than a month after an outbreak of gunfire at Eastland Mall left two men hospitalized and sent panicked shoppers fleeing to exits.

Harper Woods Deputy Chief Jim Burke says in a statement that U.S. Marshals arrested a male suspect and charges could be brought over the weekend. Burke says police are looking into the possibility that a second person may have been involved in the shooting.

Police said a dispute between two rival groups of teens escalated into gunfire November 27, 2010 when members of one group opened fire inside Eastland Mall.
