Allen Park Community Center Gets Lifeline
ALLEN PARK (WWJ) - The Allen Park Community Center is getting a lifeline from the city's Downtown Development Authority.
The DDA is donating over $200,000 to the center, which keeps it open until the end of June and buys the city more time to find a long-term solution. City Council is expected to look at a millage proposal to help fix the city's budget problems.
