ACLU Files Suit Defending Location Of Gov. Recall Petitioners
DETROIT (AP) - The American Civil Liberties Union is suing Genesee County' park system, claiming officials are violating the free-speech rights of people who want to collect signatures to recall Gov. Rick Snyder.
Apparently, people collecting signatures have been barred from going beyond a small area of the 135-acre park in Fenton Township, near Linden. They're also barred from soliciting people after 6 p.m.
The ACLU says that is a violation of their rights.
