ABC Orders New Episodes of "Detroit 1-8-7"
"Detroit 1-8-7." the made-in-the Motor City cop drama, isn't a ratings smash, but apparently it's holding its own in its Tuesday night time slot.
ABC has ordered an additional five episodes of the show which made its debut in September. "Detroit 1-8-7" has been finishing second in the 10pm Tuesday time slot behind CBS' "The Good Wife," but has been helped by a strong lead-in from ABC's "Dancing With the Stars" results show.
"Detroit 1-8-7" has been pulling a 2.2 rating and a six share with adults 18-49. That works out to about nine million viewers per episode.
The drama stars Michael Imperoli as DPD homicide inspector Louis Finch.
Much of every episode is being shot in and around Detroit.
