83-Year-Old Man Killed By Falling Tree
CASSOPOLIS, Mich. (WWJ/AP) - An 83-year-old man has been killed by a tree in southwestern Michigan.
The sheriff says Gordon Jackson was cutting down a large tree Friday when it broke free and hit him in Cass County's Porter Township.
Sheriff Richard Behnke says it was an accident. No other injuries were reported.
