5,000 Scattered Power Outages
GROSSE ILE (WWJ) - Utility crews are working to get power back on to about 5,000 homes and businesses after morning storms rolled through the area, Tuesday.
About 600 DTE Energy customers on Grosse Ile were without electricity. The remaining outages were scattered throughout Metro Detroit.
A DTE spokesman says all power should be back on by the end of the day -- but there is a chance of more rain that could hamper those efforts.
