Wolverine Program Loses 2 Players In 2 Days
DETROIT (WWJ) - Although he hasn't updated his status on twitter, Je'Ron Stokes is no longer with the University of Michigan football program. For the second time in two days, a Michigan football player has left the team.
Receiver Je'Ron Stokes becomes the second player in two days to leave the Michigan football team.
An athletic department spokesman at the U of M said Tuesday afternoon junior receiver Je'Ron Stokes has left the Wolverines, following a similar announcement Monday regarding freshman offensive lineman (Antonio )Tony Posada.
Monday a Michigan athletic department spokesperson confirmed to mgoblog.com that true freshman Tony Posada had left the Wolverines' football program. The spokesperson did not elaborate on the departure.
Posada was considered a three-star recruit.
