2 Hurt In DDOT Bus Crash

DETROIT (WWJ) - Two people were injured in an accident involving a Detroit city bus.

According to Detroit police, it happened Wednesday afternoon in the area of Groesbeck and East 8 Mile Road.

The two injured victims were taken to the hospital, but the extent of their injuries was not immediately known. It's not clear if the injured were on the DDOT bus or in another vehicle.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
