1-Year-Old In Serious Condition After Second-Floor Fall

PORT HURON (WWJ) - A 1-year-old Michigan boy is in serious condition after falling more than a dozen feet from a second-floor window at a Port Huron apartment complex.

Police say the boy was unconscious when emergency medical workers arrived early Sunday morning at the Village Manor complex.

The boy is believed to have climbed atop a plastic box and onto a window sill before he tumbled through a screen.

The boy's mother and 3-year-old brother were in the apartment at the time of the fall.
