1 Hurt In Crash With Detroit Fire Truck
DETROIT (WWJ) - One person was injured after a silver sedan crashed into a fire truck in Detroit.
It happened before noon Friday at Flanders and Roseberry east of Gratiot.
Detroit Fire officials were not able to provide any details about the victim — except to confirm that he or she is not a firefighter. The injured person was taken by EMS to a local hospital for treatment. There was no immediate word on his or her condition.
The fire rig, from Ladder 23, sustained minor damage and was taken to the city body shop to get checked over.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
