1 Dead, 1 In Serious Condition After Go-Kart, Motorcycle Collide
DETROIT (WWJ) - One man is dead and another in serious condition after a go-kart and motorcycle collide on Detroit's east side.
The accident last night on French Road near Almont. Both vehicles were speeding down the street --- when, according to police, the 21-year-old go-kart driver turned in front of the motorcycle.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The 30-year-old motorcyclist is hospitalized in serious condition.
It is unknown if drugs or alcohol played a factor in the crash.
