Off-duty Adams County sheriff's deputy killed in Christmas Eve crash
The crash happened just before 5:30 p.m. on Christmas Eve in Weld County. Two children were also in the mother's truck. Everyone was wearing their seatbelt and no drugs, alcohol or excessive speed were thought to be factors in the crash according to CSP.
